Director of Finance

Hale Hokuala Kauai, Curio Collection by Hilton is looking for a Director of Finance (Pre-Opening) — Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii (USA).

A strategic, hands-on finance leader role and Executive Committee member, partnering closely with the General Manager and ownership to drive financial performance, disciplined stewardship, and strong controls in a pre-opening resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all hotel finance operations: asset protection, reporting, systems, budgeting/forecasting, department leadership, and executive meeting participation.
• Ensure full GAAP compliance and strong financial governance.
• Act as financial advisor to hotel leadership and ownership.
• Monitor/approve key financial activities: sales, purchasing, payroll, and expenses.
• Support department heads with financial analysis and profitability actions.
• Prepare annual plan, budgets, and projections.
• Build and develop the team: recruit, train, coach, evaluate, recognize.

Compensation & benefits (as stated)

• Salary range: $165,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)
