Rotana Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join Centro Shaheen in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as Chief Accountant.

About the Property
Centro Shaheen is the first Centro by Rotana property in Jeddah, ideally located on Al Madina Road near Haifaa Mall, major commercial centres, traditional markets, consulates, and ministries.
The hotel offers a modern, business-focused hospitality experience, combining contemporary comfort with efficient service for corporate and leisure travellers.
The Role
As Chief Accountant, you will support the smooth operation of the Finance Department by ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
You will play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity while supporting operational teams with timely and reliable financial information.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Control & Reporting
• Verify General Cashier’s reports and Income Journal Vouchers.
• Review supplier invoices and ensure accurate general ledger coding.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Analyze expenses and major budget variances at month end.
• Ensure all accounting reports and deadlines are met.
Accounts Payable & Payroll Oversight
• Verify supplier payments with supporting invoices and LPOs.
• Review expense reimbursements and supporting documentation.
• Review payroll reports with supporting documents at month end.
Month-End & Compliance
• Prepare, post, and update standard and adjustment journal entries.
• Follow up on expiring contracts and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Candidate Profile
• Degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel finance environment.
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Computer literacy with knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN systems.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
• Strong leadership style with approachable team management.
