Assistant Finance Manager

Club Med Tinley Manor is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager (Seasonal/Temporary | Resort-based, South Africa – Beach & Safari).

A hands-on finance support role in a resort environment, supporting the Finance Manager across revenue control, accounting processes, reconciliations, and daily/monthly closures – within Club Med’s multicultural “G.O” (Gentle Organizer) culture.

What you’ll do

• Support the Finance Manager with administrative, financial, accounting, and budget processes.
• Control and record revenue: client payments, invoicing, and follow-up of outstanding accounts.
• Consolidate financial data and prepare/assist with trial balances, P&L/income statements, and balance sheets (legal compliance).
• Verify accounting entries and help monitor the resort’s financial position.
• Process invoice coding/data entry and complete bank reconciliations.
• Support daily and month-end closures.

Candidate profile

• Degree in Finance (Bachelor’s).
• 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Strong numerical skills, confident with finance tools; able to work both operationally and analytically.
• Clear communicator who can translate results for decision-making.
• Autonomous, proactive, and compliance-minded.
• English required; French, Afrikaans, and Zulu are advantages.
