Finance Manager

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to support the Assistant Controller and help deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls – while ensuring full compliance with local tax requirements, corporate standards, and owner reporting needs.

What you’ll do (high level)

• Support month-end close: reconciliations, account analysis, accruals, and journal entries (with a strong focus on tax-related balance sheet accounts).
• Ensure daily finance routines are efficient, compliant, and aligned with internal controls (including reviewing night audit transactions and adherence to procedures across departments).
• Maintain accurate and compliant tax documentation and retention practices in line with local regulations and the Hotel Management Agreement.
• Deliver operational financial reporting to corporate and ownership stakeholders – accurate and on time.
• Help plan and support budgeting and forecasting with the Controller/Assistant Controller.
• Train, cross-train, and develop the accounting team and operational colleagues on tax-related processes and documentation requirements.
• Ensure reporting and documentation align with IFRS and USALI standards (as applicable to the property).

What they’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong accounting/analytical capability; comfortable owning reconciliations and compliance-heavy reporting.
• Strong systems and MS Office skills (Excel, Word; accounting software proficiency required).
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Able to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 hotel operation; calm under pressure, highly organized, and discreet with confidential information.
