Raffles Seychelles is seeking a detail-oriented Income Auditor to join its Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury resort environment while ensuring revenue accuracy and compliance with international hospitality standards.

The Role

As Income Auditor, you will ensure the timely and accurate accountability of all daily hotel revenues, maintain compliance with operational procedures, and provide detailed financial analysis for audit and tax purposes.

 

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Verification & Reporting

  • Ensure Daily Flash Reports and Operations Packages are completed accurately and on time.

  • Verify negative postings, rate variances, and F&B voids/discount reports.

  • Reconcile F&B room charges with Front Office transaction totals.

  • Investigate and report all open F&B checks.

Cash & Banking Controls

  • Conduct surprise cash counts on cashier floats.

  • Verify General Cashier’s reports against bank deposit slips.

  • Ensure miscellaneous vouchers and paid-outs are properly approved.

Audit & Compliance

  • Verify banquet checks against approved event orders.

  • Ensure gift certificates and vouchers are properly accounted for.

  • Maintain subsidiary ledger records for audit and tax reporting.

  • Report monthly revenue collections to tax authorities.

Operational Support

  • Ensure Raffles checks are properly documented and excluded from F&B revenue where applicable.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

 

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.

  • 2–3 years of experience, with at least 1 year in a similar role in a hotel.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Team player with strong initiative and follow-up skills.
