Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort is seeking an experienced Cluster Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and performance management of two resort entities. The Role

The Cluster Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations across multiple properties, including financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, internal controls, capital expenditure management, and finance team leadership. Working closely with General Managers, Executive Committee members, Corporate Office, and regional stakeholders, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance and ensure sustainable business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy and overall financial performance of two resort entities.
• Provide strategic financial support to General Managers and Executive Leadership teams.
• Manage financial reporting, management accounts, statutory reporting, and performance analysis.
• Prepare, review, and present financial reports and business insights to senior stakeholders.
• Drive profitability improvement through financial analysis, cost optimization, and operational recommendations.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve internal control frameworks and finance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and taxation requirements.
• Lead annual budgeting processes, forecasts, business plans, and financial projections.
• Review capital expenditure proposals and monitor investment performance.
• Manage cash flow planning, financial risk management, and resource optimization.
• Build productive relationships with third parties, owners, auditors, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee finance team performance, development, coaching, and succession planning.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and financial discipline.
• Support rebranding, pre-opening activities, and finance operation setup where required.
• Drive effective cluster finance operations across multiple properties.
• Ensure timely completion of financial deadlines and reporting requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience at a managerial finance level within hospitality.
• Proven track record in driving hotel financial performance and profitability.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, finance, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Extensive experience in management reporting, statutory reporting, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of hotel internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Experience managing finance teams with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Previous experience in pre-opening, rebranding, or cluster finance operations is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
