Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the Director of Finance in leading the hotel’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Role

The Finance Manager will support the Director of Finance in managing daily accounting operations, financial reporting systems, budgeting, cost control, compliance, and risk management. The successful candidate will provide financial insights to management, support strategic decision-making, identify cost optimization opportunities, and ensure strong financial governance across hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Finance in managing and supervising daily accounting operations.
• Oversee hotel financial accounting, monitoring, reporting systems, and finance processes.
• Prepare regular financial summaries, management reports, and performance analysis.
• Support the development of strategic business plans and long-term financial objectives.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and support revenue optimization initiatives.
• Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Develop financial management processes to minimize business and financial risks.
• Support the preparation of statutory reports, compliance filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure successful completion of annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with Accor policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
• Provide financial guidance and support to operational departments.
• Participate as a member of the management team in strategic and operational planning discussions.
• Evaluate the financial and administrative impact of business decisions and operational initiatives.
• Establish and recommend financial objectives, strategies, and initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize costs.
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.
• Promote strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration within the Finance Department.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel or hospitality finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or international hospitality brands preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with hotel financial systems, especially SUN, is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with management teams.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and training skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Fluency in Thai and English, both written and spoken.
